Job Summary:
Join our bustling team in Boston, Massachusetts as a Shipping & Receiving Associate! This role is critical for managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all logistics processes. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, stocking inventory, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Stock received items in appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to order specifications.
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and ensure the proper use of PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external carriers.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related warehouse role.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and scanning equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
