You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. This critical role involves managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Ensure efficient workflow and productivity targets are met.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety practices.
- Address any operational issues or conflicts that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
