About
We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials within our warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, relocating inventory, and staging goods for shipment. Your role is critical to maintaining the smooth flow of operations and ensuring the integrity of our products. We maintain rigorous safety standards, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. Experience with various types of forklifts is highly desirable. Your efficiency directly impacts our logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport inventory to and from storage areas.
- Stack and arrange goods according to warehouse procedures.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is worn during operation and in designated areas.
- Involve in general warehouse tasks when not operating forklift, which may include lifting.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
