Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance on all warehouse equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed safely and according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to minimize downtime.
  • Perform general upkeep and cleaning of maintenance areas.
  • Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the logistics department.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics or electronics preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Familiarity with various types of warehouse machinery.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and experience with lifting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and occasional heavy lifting.
