We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all safety protocols. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth logistics and optimizing inventory management. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Key duties include scheduling shifts, coordinating workflows, and resolving any operational issues that arise. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. You will also play a vital role in implementing and enforcing safety procedures, ensuring all team members are equipped with proper PPE and understand safe lifting techniques. The Warehouse Supervisor will collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. Supervising and motivating warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensuring all warehouse activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices. Maintaining inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts. Optimizing warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency in our logistics operations. Training new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Resolving any operational discrepancies or challenges promptly. Collaborating with management to develop and implement operational improvements. Monitoring performance metrics and reporting on key performance indicators. Ensuring the security of the warehouse and its contents.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, including proper PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
