About
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our distribution center. Your duties will include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong attention to detail, and be committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. We emphasize teamwork and encourage a positive attitude. Your contribution is vital to our supply chain success. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. You will be working with a variety of products, so an understanding of proper handling procedures is important. The company provides all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety on the job. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of safety protocols, and all employees are expected to adhere to these guidelines. Duties will involve significant Lifting, with items ranging in weight. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within the logistics industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (training provided).
- Adhere to all Safety and security procedures.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
