About
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Technician in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is integral to maintaining the operational efficiency and integrity of our warehouse and logistics operations. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and supporting material handling processes. We are looking for individuals with a technical aptitude, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure our warehouse runs smoothly and safely. This position may involve lifting and the operation of various warehouse tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Ensure all safety equipment and systems are functional and up-to-date.
- Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment in all areas of the warehouse.
- Support material handling and logistics activities as directed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment issues.
- Adhere to all company safety standards, including the proper use of PPE and safety procedures.
- Participate in safety training and implement best practices.
Previous experience in a warehouse, maintenance, or technician role is highly desirable. Must be able to perform lifting up to 40 pounds. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Must have a strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow complex instructions. This role offers a chance to contribute to a critical aspect of our logistics network.
