We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This critical role involves maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance schedules, responding to repair requests, and ensuring all machinery operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate various tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Adhere to strict PPE requirements at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and parts ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in lifting and moving materials safely when required.
- Be a proactive member of the logistics and safety team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of machinery and electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
