About
We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our facility in Columbus, Ohio. This leadership role is vital to the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics department. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating the activities of warehouse staff, and ensuring that all operational procedures are followed safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include supervising receiving, storage, and distribution processes, optimizing warehouse layout, and managing shipping schedules. You will also be responsible for training new staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and conducting regular safety audits. The ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, and experience with forklift operation (certification preferred) is advantageous. A strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse management systems is essential. We require individuals with excellent problem-solving skills, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy. Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times.
