We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound logistics processes. You will be responsible for inspecting and performing minor maintenance on forklifts and other equipment, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Strong attention to detail is required to ensure accurate inventory counts and proper handling of goods. Safety is paramount in this position, and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures is mandatory. This includes wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds is often required. We are looking for individuals who are team-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are committed to maintaining a high level of productivity. Experience with various types of forklifts and warehouse management systems is a plus.
