We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This is a vital position within our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their products quickly and correctly. You will work closely with our inventory management system, utilizing scanners to track product movement and verify order accuracy. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality are essential. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all company policies and safety procedures. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace. Understanding warehouse operations and the importance of timely order fulfillment is key to success in this role. Responsibilities include reading pick tickets, locating items in the warehouse, ensuring correct quantities, and packaging items securely for transit. Proper use of packing materials and equipment is also required. Experience with warehouse equipment and an understanding of inventory control principles are a plus. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists and scanning devices.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure correct product matches order specifications.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems are beneficial. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety. Prior experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is preferred, but not required for motivated individuals.
