Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory by properly storing and tracking goods.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified forklift operator with significant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and operational accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and the correct usage of PPE.
