Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Enforce all safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE .
- Manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse facility.
- Resolve operational issues and disputes among team members.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment and the facility to ensure compliance and functionality.
- Assist with tasks requiring manual labor, including lifting , when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with inventory management systems and WMS software.
- Commitment to enforcing safety standards and ensuring the use of PPE .
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Experience with lifting requirements and manual handling techniques.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
