We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy logistics hub in Dallas, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in the movement, storage, and retrieval of goods within our expansive distribution center. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move pallets, and stage inventory efficiently. A strong emphasis on safety is required, along with the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stage products for order picking and shipping.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods according to logistics demands.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, climbing, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
