About
We are seeking meticulous and efficient Picker/Packers to join our San Francisco, California warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely retrieval of items from inventory and the careful packing of those items for shipment. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics network. You will utilize scanning technology to locate products and ensure order accuracy. This position demands a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Proper use of PPE is mandatory, and adherence to lifting guidelines is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using a handheld scanner and pick lists.
- Verify product details and quantities against order specifications.
- Inspect items for any damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear all required PPE during work hours.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and fulfillment process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
