Responsibilities:
- Accept and process incoming shipments, verifying contents.
- Organize and store inventory in appropriate locations within the distribution center.
- Select items from inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Package products safely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare orders for loading onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and utilize necessary PPE.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification/training provided).
- Participate in inventory audits and record keeping.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety practices in logistics.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
