Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse duties such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret pick lists and order specifications accurately.
- Package products appropriately for shipment, ensuring quality and protection.
- Conduct inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with all regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the strict use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs and engage in other physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, and squatting for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
