Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory in warehouse racks and floor space.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
- Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 75 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a must.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
