About
We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks, relocating inventory, and staging goods for shipment. A valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation are essential. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure smooth operational flow and timely order fulfillment. This role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. The position involves operating various types of forklifts, as well as occasional manual Lifting and movement of goods. We adhere to rigorous Safety standards and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ongoing training. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with efficiency and care.
- Stage materials for production or shipping departments.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and data entry.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Perform manual tasks and Lifting as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
