We are hiring an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Baltimore, Maryland location. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize discrepancies. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and reduce waste.
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing inventory movements.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage stock flow.
  • Identify and report any damaged or obsolete inventory.
  • Promote a culture of Safety and compliance with all warehouse policies, including proper PPE usage.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs) as needed for inventory checks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to Safety best practices and adherence to company policies, including wearing required PPE.
