We are seeking dedicated and reliable Distribution Center Associates to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. As a vital part of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You'll work closely with a supportive team to fulfill orders, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and order pickers (training provided).
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and security.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Understanding of basic Safety principles in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
