In this vital role, you will be responsible for the precise retrieval of items from our inventory and their careful packing for shipment. This position is key to our logistics success, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will work in a dynamic environment where speed, accuracy, and safety are prioritized. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order tickets or RF scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect products for quality and damage.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds frequently.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Strong work ethic and ability to meet performance targets.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
