About
Our Des Moines, Iowa facility is seeking a versatile Warehouse Associate to join our operations. This role is integral to our logistics network, focusing on the efficient handling of inventory from receiving to shipping. You will be responsible for a range of duties, including stocking, order picking, packing, and ensuring the overall organization and safety of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receive and unload merchandise.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated locations.
- Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Pack orders safely and securely.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds consistently.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to a safe work environment and adherence to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
