About
Our Cincinnati, Ohio location is looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with stockroom organization. A keen eye for detail and a systematic approach are essential for success in this position. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently by maintaining precise inventory data.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory variances, identifying root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with the organization and layout of warehouse stock.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any stock-outs or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper receiving and put-away procedures are followed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Support logistics and operations teams with inventory-related information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform light lifting (up to 30 pounds) as needed.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE.
