About
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator for our busy facility in Baltimore, Maryland. This leadership role plays a critical part in overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring optimal efficiency within our logistics network. Responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating receiving and shipping activities, optimizing inventory management, and ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, enforcing the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and implementing best practices in warehouse management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse supervision, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate a team. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. This role requires strategic thinking and operational excellence to support our growing logistics business. Duties may involve occasional Lifting and hands-on support.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage and schedule warehouse staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Coordinate the flow of goods, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring compliance with Safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Liaise with other departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
