Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is critical to our daily operations, ensuring that goods are transported accurately and timely. You will operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to load and unload shipments, move inventory, and assist with stocking and order fulfillment. Attention to detail and adherence to all safety protocols are paramount in this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack pallets and materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of goods.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in logistics and material handling.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
  • Proper use of required PPE, including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
  • Assist other warehouse personnel as directed.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
  • Ability to operate various types of forklifts.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
