Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and accurately put away incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Load and unload trucks as required.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or safety concerns.
- Follow all instructions and procedures to ensure efficient logistics operations.
- Perform tasks requiring considerable physical activity, including consistent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Wear and maintain required PPE throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate manual and powered material handling equipment.
- Capacity for sustained physical activity, including frequent and heavy Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic inventory management and logistics principles.
- Dedication to adhering to safety protocols and using PPE correctly.
