Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Portland, Oregon. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, load, and unload materials within our warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center, ensuring timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards. You will work closely with warehouse associates and supervisors to manage inventory movement and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are paramount.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets and goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Safely load and unload trucks and containers.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE .
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
  • Adhere to all Lifting and material handling guidelines to prevent injuries.
  • Participate in ongoing training related to Safety and forklift operation.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Commitment to Safety and adherence to all PPE requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced Logistics environment.
