Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Dallas, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, moving materials within the warehouse, and ensuring inventory is stored correctly. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are essential. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift certification, a proven track record of safe operation, and the ability to work collaboratively with the warehouse team. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move pallets and materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with incoming and outgoing merchandise.
  • Transport materials from receiving areas to storage locations and from storage to shipping docks.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Stack and arrange inventory in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
  • Assist with inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including traffic rules within the warehouse.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while operating equipment.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and organization of the logistics operations.

Requirements:
  • Valid Forklift Operator certification/license.
  • Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting (up to 40 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and good spatial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
