Join our team as a Forklift Operator in Phoenix, Arizona, and become an essential part of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role demands precision, adherence to safety standards, and proficiency in operating various types of forklifts. As a Forklift Operator, you will contribute directly to the smooth flow of our logistics chain, ensuring inventory is managed effectively and safely. Experience with different forklift models and a strong commitment to safety are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use, reporting any issues immediately.
- Safely transport goods to and from designated areas, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Accurately record the movement of goods using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear.
- Follow all company Safety regulations and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with other warehouse tasks as directed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics and distribution processes.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform Lifting of up to 75 pounds when necessary.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to Safety and proper equipment operation.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety best practices and PPE requirements.
