Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia's logistics sector? We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate to support our expanding operations. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including receiving inbound goods, order picking and fulfillment, inventory management, and preparing shipments. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products through our distribution center. A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential, requiring strict adherence to all safety guidelines, the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and proficiency in safe lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
  • Manage inventory levels through regular counts and data entry.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Prepare shipments for outgoing transport, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures diligently.
  • Ensure the consistent use of required PPE, including safety glasses, vests, and gloves.
  • Participate in team efforts to meet daily operational goals for logistics.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate various warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Understanding of logistics operations and warehouse flow.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including safe lifting practices.
  • Willingness to consistently wear and use mandated PPE.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
