Join our logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Material Handler! This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on the movement and organization of goods. You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and assisting with order fulfillment. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage and that operations are conducted efficiently. We are committed to a safe workplace, and all team members must consistently use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from storage areas.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory locations.
- Assist with picking and packing orders as needed.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely and without damage.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse/logistics role.
- Certification on relevant equipment (e.g., forklift) is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material flow.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to wearing PPE and following safety guidelines.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including frequent Lifting.
