Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a challenging opportunity in Milwaukee, Wisconsin? We are searching for a skilled individual to join our dedicated logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials is paramount. This position requires precision, a keen eye for safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be instrumental in maintaining smooth operations, from receiving goods to staging them for outbound shipment. We pride ourselves on a robust Safety program and expect all operators to adhere to the highest standards. This role involves regular Lifting of items as part of the material handling process, and all team members are required to wear appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Proper use and maintenance of required PPE.
- Must be capable of supporting team with material handling tasks involving Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Excellent understanding of Safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
