We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Boise, Idaho. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and prepared for distribution accurately and on time. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, processing, and moving materials within the warehouse and to/from various production areas. This involves operating equipment safely and effectively to transport goods, as well as performing manual tasks. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure the correct materials are handled and that inventory records are maintained. Our ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
- Transporting materials to and from designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Assisting with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Capable of significant Lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong understanding of Safety practices.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
