About
We are hiring proactive Distribution Center Associates for our busy Phoenix, Arizona location. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. This multifaceted role is central to the efficient flow of goods through our facility and is key to our overall Logistics success. You'll be part of a team committed to operational excellence and upholding high standards of workplace Safety .
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks within the distribution center, including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and loading/unloading.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, if certified.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of all goods, maintaining inventory integrity.
- Follow all established procedures and work instructions.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety guidelines and regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ).
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities such as cycle counting.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily goals.
- This role involves frequent Lifting , bending, and standing for prolonged periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
