Join our team as a Forklift Operator in Miami, Florida, and play a critical role in our warehouse operations. This position demands skilled and certified operators who can safely and efficiently move materials throughout our facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move pallets of goods, and organize inventory in designated areas. Safety is our top priority, and you must demonstrate a strong commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and protocols. The correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role involves frequent Lifting and carrying of items, as well as the physical demands associated with operating machinery. A keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of warehouse Logistics are essential. We are looking for individuals with excellent spatial awareness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods to and from designated warehouse locations.
- Inspect forklift equipment before and after use for any defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory management and stock placement.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE diligently.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Logistics improvements.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and maneuvering of heavy items.
- Understanding of Logistics principles and warehouse flow.
- Good mechanical aptitude and observational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
