Job Summary:
Join our vibrant Chicago, Illinois team as a certified Forklift Operator! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of goods within our busy distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials efficiently and safely. Your role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring timely processing of inventory and readiness for dispatch. We emphasize a secure work environment, requiring strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
  • Stack and stage materials in designated warehouse areas.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning or manually recording movements.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Ensure the work area is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Safely transport items for order picking and fulfillment.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
  • Valid forklift certification or license.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and physical activity.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling.
  • Knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
