Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our San Antonio, Texas distribution center. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for efficient logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing, tracking, and verifying stock levels, implementing control measures, and resolving discrepancies. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by analyzing system data and physical counts.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss and damage.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify items for replenishment or disposal.
  • Manage the return process, including inspection and disposition of returned goods.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and adjustments.
  • Collaborate with operations and purchasing teams to optimize inventory management.
  • Properly use and maintain PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of Safety protocols within a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to wearing required PPE.
