About
Our Washington, D.C. facility is looking for a diligent Material Handler to become a key part of our warehouse team. This position plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of our logistics operations, ensuring that materials are managed efficiently and safely. The Material Handler will be tasked with receiving, stocking, and distributing various materials within the warehouse. Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required for forklift operation), ensuring accurate inventory counts, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Safety is our top priority; adherence to all safety protocols and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role involves a significant amount of physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. We seek individuals who are reliable, possess strong organizational skills, and are committed to teamwork. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided to qualified candidates.
