We are seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and store materials in a warehouse environment. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our facility and ensuring timely order fulfillment. You will be working in a fast-paced logistics operation, requiring attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety protocols. As a Forklift Operator, you will handle a variety of products, from raw materials to finished goods, ensuring they are moved safely and accurately. Responsibilities include performing pre-operation checks on forklifts, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with inventory management tasks as needed. Adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This position requires a candidate with excellent hand-eye coordination, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a proven track record of safe forklift operation. Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Experience with various types of forklifts and warehouse management systems is a plus.
