As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of essential tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your diligence ensures that our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting the demands of our customers. This role is fundamental to our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Inspect and document incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and place materials or products in designated storage areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other manual equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Follow established protocols for safe lifting and material handling.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
