Opportunity awaits in Boise, Idaho! We're looking for a diligent Order Picker to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You'll be working in our warehouse environment, managing inventory, and ensuring that orders are processed efficiently. This is a key role in our supply chain, requiring accuracy and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate items in the warehouse, ensuring correct product and quantity selection.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Operate pallet jacks and other hand tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Practice safe lifting techniques to avoid injury.
- Participate in inventory control activities.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding of safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of logistics processes is a plus.
