Join our expanding logistics network as a Forklift Operator in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is critical for the efficient operation of our distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking inventory within the warehouse. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling equipment is essential. You will work closely with warehouse supervisors and other team members to ensure all logistics processes run smoothly. Safety is our utmost priority, and we expect all employees to adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the safe operation of forklifts. This role requires the ability to perform consistent lifting, up to 70 pounds, and to maintain focus in a demanding environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment.
- Report any operational issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear all required PPE during operating hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
