We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our Raleigh, North Carolina distribution center. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in the movement of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, load, and unload products. This position requires experience with various types of forklifts and a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. You will work closely with inventory control and shipping/receiving teams to ensure accurate and timely movement of goods. Maintaining a safe work environment is our top priority. This includes strict adherence to all safety regulations, proper operation of equipment, and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting, up to 70 pounds, is also a part of this role. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Stack and stage products in designated areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for warehouse operations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed.
