We are hiring a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Richmond, Virginia! As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of essential tasks that keep our logistics operations running smoothly. Your duties will range from receiving and stocking goods to picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This role requires diligence, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will work closely with other team members to ensure efficiency and productivity, adhering to all company policies and safety standards. The correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments
- Stock merchandise in appropriate warehouse locations
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational goals
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
