Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Richmond, Virginia! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to manage the flow of goods within our facility. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that our products are handled with care and efficiency. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. We are committed to maintaining a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere strictly to safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, and store).
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Organize warehouse and work areas for cleanliness and order.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
- Ship out orders from customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Comply with all warehouse safety procedures and company policies regarding lifting and handling of goods.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure proper PPE is worn at all times when required.
Qualifications:
- Proven warehouse or logistics experience is advantageous.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of warehouse safety rules and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player attitude with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
