About
Seeking a dynamic Picker/Packer for our fast-paced warehouse in Orlando, Florida. This role is critical for ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for reading order tickets, locating items within the warehouse, picking the correct products and quantities, and then carefully packing them for transit. Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy are key. You will work as part of a team to meet daily shipping goals, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Adherence to all safety guidelines, including the use of required PPE, is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order sheets and RF scanner.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet or exceed picking and packing performance targets.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse workflow.
- Commitment to safety and a positive attitude.
