Join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri, as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to operate forklifts safely and efficiently, ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our state-of-the-art warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. You will be instrumental in loading and unloading trucks, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to all safety protocols. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, requiring a strong commitment to safety and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Stack and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and stability.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to supervision.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
