Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our growing team in Durham, North Carolina. In this vital role, you will operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials throughout our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, managing inventory placement, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the facility.
  • Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport goods to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping/receiving docks.
  • Accurately stack and organize materials in designated locations, maintaining inventory integrity.
  • Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock checks.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
  • Perform general warehouse duties as needed, including occasional manual lifting.
  • Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the facility.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrable experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and safety best practices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE throughout the shift.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
  • A strong safety record and commitment to following safety protocols are essential.
