About
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk for our Huntsville, Alabama location. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. Your responsibilities will include receiving, counting, and recording inventory, as well as assisting with stock adjustments and transfers. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a systematic approach, and a commitment to maintaining an organized and safe work environment. You will be a key contributor to the smooth functioning of our Logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and record incoming inventory.
- Perform accurate inventory counts, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records and updating system data.
- Investigate and resolve basic inventory discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock for easy access and retrieval.
- Prepare inventory reports as needed.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during all tasks.
- Support overall Logistics operations through diligent record-keeping.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar data entry/inventory role.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse and Logistics environments is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly workspace.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
